Future of historic Roscommon Post Office uncertain as service relocates

There are calls for clarity over the future use of the historic Roscommon Post Office building.

The business has been based in a listed building on The Square, which was built in 1911.

But it is moving to Fleming's SuperValu on Main Street in the middle of next month.

Local Sinn Féin TD, Claire Kerrane, says the current post office building should continue to be used by the community.
