The funeral arrangements for an award-winning actor who lived in north Roscommon have been confirmed.
Gary Lydon, who was born in London to Irish parents, before moving to Wexford as a child. had been living in the Cootehall area in recent years.
He was best known for his role in 'The Banshees of Inisherin' and his appearances in 'Love/Hate' and 'The Clinic.'
The late Mr Lydon also played the character of Bernie in the movie 'Lakelands,' which was shot in Granard.
His funeral will take place in St. Michael’s Church, Cootehall on Thursday at 12 noon followed by interment afterwards in Kileenan Cemetery.
