Funeral arrangements have been announced for a much-loved Mohill resident whose body was found in Boyle earlier this week.
21-year-old David O'Callaghan vanished from the car park of St. Joseph's Church in Boyle last Saturday and his body was recovered nearby almost four days later, after a massive search.
His family has set up a GoFundMe page to cover his funeral expenses, and donations have now exceeded €7,000.
Any donations beyond the funeral costs will go to a mental health charity.
David O'Callaghan will be reposing at Shepherd's Funeral Home, Longford, on Monday from 6pm to 8pm, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, on Tuesday, at 2pm.
