Hauliers, contractors and motorists as a whole are being urged to attend an emergency fuel crisis meeting in Leitrim this Saturday.
Last Saturday, over 400 people who turned out at a similar meeting in Portlaoise to demand the reduction of the cost of diesel.
Those attending said they would be in favour of staging road blockades at Dublin airport and along the M50 in protest next week.
Manorhamilton's Bee Park Community Centre will host the meeting on Saturday at 7pm.
