Sinn Fein is running two candidates in the general election in Sligo-Leitrim - with a selection convention to be held in Sligo next Thursday. TD Martin Kenny will stand on the Leitrim side of the constituency, and the party will also select a Sligo candidate.
Sligo councillor Thomas Healy and former MEP Chris McManus are among those in contention. McManus is confirming he's contesting the convention after losing his European seat in June:
