A long-time Boyle resident is the guest speaker at the Knock Novena today. Ita Lohan will speak about prison life during the 3 o'clock and 8 o'clock Masses at the Shrine. She's the former chaplain of Castlerea Prison and current chaplain in Loughan House in Cavan.
Around 150,000 people are expected to attend the nine-day novena, which started on Wednesday. The parish priest of Tubbercurry-Cloonacool, Vincent Sherlock, was there earlier this week:
