Flood risk continues to impact Roscommon homes

Bord Na Móna began clearing drains near Mountdillon Bog last weekend.

A local MEP says some homes in Co. Roscommon are at risk of being flooded in the coming months.

Independent Ireland's Ciaran Mullooly has been speaking after Bord Na Móna began clearing drains near Mountdillon Bog last weekend.

Multiple meetings have taken place this year with farmers and landowners around Ballyleague and Strokestown over concerns their land will be flooded by the rewetting process.

Whilst Mullooly welcomed the progress that has been made recently, he says some homes are still at risk:
