240 more people have tested positive for Covid-19, and one more patient with the virus has died.
The death toll in the Republic is now 1,789.
Almost half of today's cases, 119, were discovered in Dublin.

There were 19 in Wicklow, 17 in Kildare, 16 in Donegal, 15 in Waterford and ten in Limerick -- with 43 more across 15 other counties including Longford.
In the Shannonside region, an extra five confirmed cases have been added.
In Leitrim, 112 cases have now been confirmed - a rise of two since yesterday.

In Roscommon an extra two cases bring its total to 383 and in Longford the total is now 322 - an increase of one.
