First-time buyers have their best shot at getting on the property ladder in Longford. New research by switcher.ie shows the average couple would have the best chance of buying a home there, followed by Leitrim, Donegal, Mayo and Roscommon. The most expensive places to save up for deposit are Dun Laoghaire followed by Wicklow, South Dublin, Fingal and Louth.
