The first vaccinations of staff at Roscommon University hospital have taken place this afternoon.
36 people an hour are set to be vaccinated at the hospital - with one dose administered every ten minutes by six people from early morning until late evening for the next number of days.
Dr Gerry O'Meara was one of the first staff to receive the jab - he says it's great to see the roll-out happen:
