Minister Jack Chambers is in Longford Town today at the launch of the Albert Reynolds collection at Longford Library.

The Public Expenditure Minister has responded to broadcaster Ivan Yates provided media training during Fianna Fáil’s presidential Election campaign.

It emerged over the weekend that Ivan Yates provided two communications training sessions to Jim Gavin in September.

Yates has subsequently left the Path to Power podcast which he co-hosted with Matt Cooper due to his involvement in the campaign.

Minister Chambers, his party's deputy leader, was unsure if Yates provided training to candidates in the lead up to last year's general election:
