A Family Resource Centre in Longford town has moved a step forward.
There are currently two Family Resource Centres in the county, one in Ballymahon and the other in Granard.
Officials have identified The Attic House in Longford town as the proposed location.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Dublin, Monaghan, Louth, Kildare and Galway are to gain new family resource centres.
This led to grave disappointment locally.
However, the Government has announced a significant increase in core funding for existing centres, and Minister Norma Foley will visit the area.
