The family of a Leitrim man who died in suspicious circumstances are meeting garda detectives in Carrick-on-Shannon today. They'll discuss the outcome of a review of the garda investigation.
87-year-old Liam Farrell was found dead outside his home in Rooskey in January 2020, and his family believes he was attacked. Liam's son, Brendan, says Garda Commissioner Drew Harris asked detectives to meet the family today:
