A Church of Ireland rector says he's confident the ethos of St John's National School in Longford town won't change.
A Department of Education survey is asking for opinions on a number of issues, including whether a school is under religious or multi-denominational patronage.
Parents and guardians of kids currently in primary education, or who will be in the coming years, have until next Tuesday to do the survey.
