717 ESB customers are without power in Longford this morning due to a fault.
It comes as the country remains under a severe weather alert with a Status Yellow warning still in place for counties across the Shannonside region.
The ESB says it is currently working to restore electricity to the affected areas and urges the public to never approach or touch fallen or damaged electricity wires.
