The Enterprise Minister says he wants a reduction in the VAT rate for the hospitality sector to come in as early as possible. Minister Peter Burke was speaking after a business event in Carrick on Shannon this morning.
It's reported that the coalition have been considering not implementing the VAT reduction until the middle of next year to reduce the immediate cost. However, the local Minister says discussions are ongoing:
