Multiple fire service units from across County Longford are attending a large bog fire in Drumlish this evening.
Longford, Granard and Edgeworthstown Fire Service units are tackling the fire on Cloonaugh Bog close to the village.
High temperatures and low rainfall over the last week have dramatically increased the risk of wild fires, with local authority's warning the public to take care with cigarette butts or disposable BBQs.
