As part of Operation Tara, the ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs, Gardaí have seized approximately €96,000 of suspected cannabis from a location in Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon.
Gardaí from Castlerea and the Divisional Drugs Unit recovered the drugs which were hidden inside a barrel stored in a wooded area.
The drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
