220,000 euro worth of drugs has been seized along with 80,000 euro in cash following a Criminal Assets Bureau operation in the midlands.
The CAB investigation is focused on assets accumulated by an Eastern European crime gang involved in selling drugs.
Two homes and a property under construction were searched today where 12 high-value watches, designer handbags and a horse saddle were recovered.
A CAB search in the Midlands earlier today resulted in the seizure of 3kg of cocaine, .5kg of cannabis, €80,000 in cash, a horse saddle, 12 high value watches, designer goods and financial documentation.

A man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s were arrested.
