Over €232,000 worth of drugs have been discovered concealed in packages at an Athlone mail centre.
11.6 kilograms of herbal cannabis was discovered by Revenue Officers examining parcels at a premises in the Town yesterday and Monday.
The drugs were concealed in 3 packages that originated in Spain and were destined for addresses in Westmeath and Dublin.

The seizures are part of ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs by both Revenue and Gardaí.
It's the second major drugs bust in the last number of days with €180,000 worth of cannabis found in the search of a vehicle in Roscommon Sunday night.
