Revenue Officers have seized a substantial amount of drugs in the Athlone area.
10kgs of Cannabis, 10kgs of khat, and 114 grams of Cocaine with an estimated value of €223,000 were seized at a property in Athlone yesterday.
The packages originated in Italy, France, the Netherlands and the UK, and were destined for addresses in Dublin, Louth, and Carlow.
