€1.3m has been allocated towards the Carrick on Shannon to Dromod bypass project. The funding was announced today by the Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien.
It's expected the project will go to planning early next year and will open around 2030. Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan has welcomed today's announcement:
