Almost twenty homes in a large housing estate in Ballaghaderreen are to go on sale for over one million euro.
The homes, being offered for sale through the Bid X1 group, are unoccupied, except for one property. The Riveroaks housing estate in the west Roscommon town comprises of a total of 52 homes and now over one third of them are being put up for sale.
As well as the developed properties, a site for ten additional homes is being offered in what is described as an "excellent opportunity for further development."
The 18 homes, of which just one is occupied at an annual rent rate of €10,200 are situated on a total of three acres, and are in varying states of completion and also include 12 semi-detached homes, two bungalows as well as two mid-terrace and two end-of-terrace properties.
According to the advertisement which was only posted this morning, the homes will be sold by private treaty at a price of €1.2million.
