A Roscommon man is warning people to be vigilant for illegal dumping in wet weather.
The man features in a video which was posted to Facebook and went viral over the past several days and shows him confronting people who he alleges have just dumped goods down a bog lane.
The video has had thousands of views since it was put up with people from all over the country commenting on the scourge of dumping in rural Ireland.

Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show the man said he knew from previous experience to be on the outlook for illegal dumping when he made the video of the encounter.
