Gardaí in Longford are reminding the public that it is an offence under the Road Traffic (Traffic and Parking) Regulations to park or stop in a disabled parking bay.
That's after two drivers were fined in Longford town for illegally doing so.
Gardai patrolled the county town in recent days.

During this, they observed two vehicles parked and blocking disabled bays on Ballymahon Street.
Each driver was issued with a fixed charge penalty notice of €150.
