The draft schedule for the roll out of the Covid vaccine in nursing homes in the Shannonside Northern Sound region has been revealed.

According to the Irish Independent, the first Cavan nursing home residents and staff will receive the vaccine on the 11th of January.

The first jabs to be given in Monaghan will take place a week later on the 18th and the

first vaccinations in Longford will take place on the 22nd of January.

Roscommon first vaccinations will get underway on the 20th of January with Leitrim vaccination roll out beginning the same day.
