Don Connellan has been remembered for his ability in getting the best out of others.
A native Clooncose in county Roscommon, the late Mr Connellan passed away on Monday at University Hospital in Galway.
He enjoyed an illustrious career in Gaelic football and was part of the victorious Connacht senior championship winning team in 2001.
Former Garda Colleagues of the late Mr Connellan draped a tricolour as well as placing his hat on his coffin at the beginning of the requiem mass.
