A Leitrim councillor says a report on the response to Storm Éowyn is too little, too late.
Cllr Gary Prior believes the report should have been completed immediately after the storm in January.
Leitrim was one of the worst-hit counties in the country with thousands left without power, some of them for weeks.
The Review of Storm Éowyn included recommendations such as cancelling public events at an orange level weather warning and the establishment of adequate backup power systems for essential services.
This week, councillors in Ballinamore were told three mobile generators for the county would not be in place until next spring.
Cllr Prior, the Cathaoirleach of Ballinamore MD, says the county should be more prepared at this point:
