The Department of Education facilities scheme has granted schools across the region allocations for works

Several schools in the Shannonside area have received significant allocations for works as part of a Department Of Education facilities scheme.

The Additional Accommodation Scheme is designed to ensure that essential classroom accommodation is available to cater for the number of pupils enrolled in the school.

The support includes provisions to allow schools to rent additional accommodation when the need is temporary.
