Aldi is due to find out today whether it's much-anticipated supermarket in Boyle gets the green light. The German company wants to build the store in St Patrick Street, and there would be 96 car-parking spaces.
There have been some objections to the planning application, which Roscommon County Council is due to decide on today. Former Boyle mayor Jane Suffin hopes it gets the go-ahead:
