A dangerous crossroads near Strokestown will be discussed at a high level meeting in Dublin today.
Roscommon County Council will hold talks with Transport Infrastructure Ireland about Scramoge Cross and other roads.
Independent councillor Tom Crosby says there have been deaths and serious injuries in crashes at the cross.
