A cyclist is in serious condition in hospital following a collision with a car in Westmeath. It happened on the Moate Road in Ballymore shortly before 1.30 yesterday afternoon.
The cyclist - a man in his 50s - was taken to Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, especially those with dashcam footage, to come forward.
