Crime review into Cavan murders will help others 'learn the signs'

The sister of a woman who along with her sons was murdered by her husband in Co Cavan says she "won't give up" her fight for justice. Jacqueline Connolly's sister Clodagh and her three sons, who aged from six to 13, were killed by Alan Hawe near Ballyjamesduff in 2016. Speaking on today's Joe Finnegan Show, Jacqueline appealed directly to Garda Commissioner Drew Harris to publish a serious crime review into the case.

According to Jacqueline, findings in this report "need to be published" so that services and people across the country are aware of what coercive control is and what "family annihilators" look like. Jacqueline says people deserve to know why Alan Hawe murdered her family and that information in such a report would be "vital" when it comes to preventing domestic violence, murder-suicides and coercive control:
