A Leitrim councillor has welcomed progress on proposed works at a walkway in Drumshanbo.
There are plans to install a pedestrian underpass at Drumhauver Bridge.
Cllr Enda McGloin had sought an update on the works at a recent meeting of Ballinamore Municipal District.
In response, Leitrim County Council said Waterways Ireland were negotiating over the land before proceeding to tender.
