A Leitrim councillor is calling on the local authority to develop a strategy to address vacant and derelict buildings in the county.
The latest GeoDirectory Residential Buildings Report last week revealed that Leitrim has the highest number of vacant homes in Ireland - at nearly 12 per cent.
Roscommon has the third highest, at over 10 per cent, while Longford has the sixth highest, at over 7 per cent.
