Councillor calls for urgent action to monitor speeding in local estate

Local Fianna Fáil councillor Paddy Farrell says traffic has increased a lot in the area over the past few years.

There are calls for urgent action to be taken to address speeding in a housing estate in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Residents in Breffni Cresent, beside the Family Resource Centre, are looking for speed ramps to be installed to get cars to reduce their speed.

Local Fianna Fáil councillor Paddy Farrell says traffic has increased a lot in the area over the past few years.
He says it's because there are more kids in the local creche - and he's backing the calls for speed ramps.
