A rise in inflation has halted further works as part of the Carrick on Shannon Destination works.
It's understood the contractors were forced to pull out of the project due to an increase in the price of materials.
Speaking at this months meeting of Leitrim County Council an official stated the local authority were now in discussions with Failte Ireland for extra grant funding.

The public realm works were due to be carried out along the L3401 between Cryans Hotel and the Carrick Plaza suites this Autumn.
