It hasn't yet been confirmed how many turbines will be erected as part of a proposed windfarm development in south Roscommon.
The Cornafulla Wind Farm is a joint venture between Bord na Móna and SSE Renewables.
A proposed development study area has been established on Bord na Móna land close to Drumlosh in south County Roscommon.
It's located on Cornafulla Bog, which sits between Cornafulla and Clonmacnoise.
There was a strong turnout at a public consultation event last night at Clann na nGael GAA Club.
The developers say the project is at a very early stage and proposed turbine locations and heights haven't been established.
