Commercial vehicle seized after Longford Gardai detect serious faults

Longford Gardai have seized a commercial vehicle after it was discovered to be a danger to other motorists.

Members of the Roads Policing unit stopped the vehicle for an Enforcement Test on suspicion it was in a poor state earlier this week.

A subsequent test at a garage discovered a number of defects and the vehicle was seized and the driver is due to appear in court.

Longford RPU detained a commercial vehicle for an Enforcement Test on suspicion it was in such a poor state & posed a significant danger to other road users.
