Cocaine with an estimated value of €45,000 has been seized in Ballinasloe.
The drugs were discovered on derelict ground in the Dunlo Harbour area of the town yesterday.
The seizure was part of an intelligence led operation by gardaí attached to Ballinasloe Garda Station.

A male in his mid-teens was arrested at the scene and brought to Ballinasloe station for questioning.
He's since been released without charge and a File will be prepared for the DPP.
Gardaí say the drugs seizure took place under Operation Tara.

It seeks to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks.
