Close to 100 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the Shannonside region this morning.
Figures from the INMO are reporting that Sligo University Hospital Emergency Department is extremely busy with 31 people on trolleys or waiting elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Galway is the 3rd busiest ED nationwide today, with 42 people on trolleys.

Four people are waiting for beds in the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullinagar, with no people at Tullamore A&E.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Oraganisation, there are currently 18 patients waiting in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
