Longford based charity Cian's Kennels have announced a major new partnership with the Westmeath ladies Football Team.
Cian's Kennel's allows children undergoing hospital stays to re-unite with their family pets at a purpose built centre on the grounds of Crumlin Children's Hospital.
Last week they also launched an innovative mobile pet therapy service at Mullingar Hospital to give children access to trained therapy dogs.
The new partnership announced this morning will see the charity join with Westmeath Ladies Football to raise awareness of the charity and to promote fundraising.
The charity was set up in honour of Longford teen Cian Neary who passed away at 15 years of age and would have turned 21 years of age this week.
Westmeath Ladies Football Manager Frank Browne says the team are proud to be helping such a worthy cause.
