The Chinese Ambassador to Ireland is visiting The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim today. Mr. He Xiangdong will be accompanied by Minister for European Affairs, Peter Burke, to celebrate the launch of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin in China.
Pat and Denise Rigney who are the founders and owners of The Shed Distillery, will present the Ambassador and the Minister with a special limited-edition Chinese Dragon bottle of Gunpowder Irish Gin to mark the occasion. The announcement is expected to create significant new local job opportunities with the company already employing over 100 people in Drumshanbo.
