A child has died after an assault in County Wexford.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident at a home in New Ross shortly before midnight last night. The young girl was taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment, and died this morning.A woman and a man in their 30s are receiving treatment in University Hospital Waterford for non-life threatening injuries.
The scene remains preserved for forensic examination and the Coroner has been notified
