Carrick resident Paul Reid set to become chair of new planning authority — Paul Reid

Paul Reid, who lives in Carrick on Shannon, was the HSE chief executive during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and stood down from the role in 2022.

The former head of the HSE is set to chair the new planning authority.

Paul Reid, who lives in Carrick on Shannon, was the HSE chief executive during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and stood down from the role in 2022.

He's now set to become the chairperson of An Coimisiún Pleanála which is replacing An Bord Pleanála.
