Gardaí are warning of scam emails being sent around the Carrick on Shannon area. They say a fake email address using the name of a local parish priest is requesting the purchase of Apple Gift Cards for a cancer patient.
Gardaí are advising the public not to engage with these emails and report any suspicious activity to local Gardaí.
