Local Gardaí recently stopped an unaccompanied learner driver.
The Roscommon Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in the County Town and found that there were no L-plates displayed.
They also found a cancelled insurance disc and two defective front tyres. Gardaí say the car was seized and court proceedings are to follow.
