The Government is being called on to stop funding the greyhound industry, which is being described as a 'financial basket-case'.
A new report has found that 1.5 billion euro in public funds were funnelled into the Horse and Greyhound Fund in the past 20 years.
The Social Democrats says the greyhound industry is in "terminal decline" and taxpayer's money is simply propping it up. Party leader Holly Cairns says the money should be spent elsewhere:
