There are calls for a wind farm planned for north Roscommon to be put out at sea instead. Several speakers voiced this view at a public meeting in Rooskey last night.
Ballyfeeny Green Energy is looking for planning permission for six large wind turbines in the area. Independent councillor Tom Crosby says he's strongly against the development:
