There are calls for the National Transport Authority to reverse a decision to withdraw a vital bus service in County Leitrim. The Bus Éireann 463 route links Carrigallen and Mohill to Longford Train Station. Cllr Roisin Kenny urged Leitrim County Council to contact the NTA, Bus Éireann and the Minister for Transport to reverse the decision.
Her motion at this week’s Ballinamore Municipal District meeting received widespread support. The Sinn Féin councillor says Leitrim needs more services rather than the withdrawal of existing ones:
